For the hardest weeks, and the years before.
Kaira does the calls, the documents, and the long follow-up after a death, so you can be with the people. Plan ahead with us, or use Kaira in the worst week. The work is ours.

One task today
You don't get a list. You get one thing.
In the week after a death, Kaira gives you the most important task today and keeps the other fifty out of sight until later this week, this month, and this year. Help from family, friends, and professionals stays organized in one place instead of scattering across texts, calls, notes, and memory.

The right funeral home, attorney, or counselor for your family.
Kaira does not hand you a directory. We review options against what you have told us, your budget, your timeline, the language your family speaks, and show one match with the reasoning. You stay in control of the choice.

Bureaucracy, handled in the background.
Closing accounts, filing insurance claims, sitting on hold with Social Security, utilities, phone plans, cards, benefits, and digital accounts. We do the institutional work and follow up until things are done. You see what is happening without having to do it yourself.

Plan ahead with Kaira. Record your wishes, find gaps that are easy to miss, write letters to be delivered later. Your family inherits a path through the work, instead of a guessing game in the worst week of their life.

Letters to deliver
3 drafted · 2 in progress
Kaira interviewed Margaret over four short sessions, then drafted letters to be delivered later. Some are tied to a date, others to a moment you describe.
To Mateo, on his 18th birthday
Drafted in your voice · Delivers March 14, 2042
"I never told you about the time your grandfather and I drove through Sonora..."
To Sofia, when she has her first child
Drafted · Held until you say go
To David, one year after
Drafted · Held until you say go
Said in your voice, later
Write the letters now. We deliver them on the day.
Some words wait for a birthday, a wedding, the year mark. Kaira interviews you over a few short sessions, drafts in your voice, and holds the letters until the day comes. You can rewrite them or pull them back at any time.

Why we are building Kaira
My name is Adé, co-founder of Kaira. I started building this at Harvard Business School after my grandmother passed away.
I watched my family try to grieve while also handling calls, paperwork, providers, family coordination, and the quiet work that keeps arriving after everyone else has gone home.
Since then, Kaira has been shaped by time inside a Boston funeral home and conversations my co-founder and I have had with families, funeral directors, attorneys, estate planners, care professionals, and industry experts. The lesson keeps repeating: families need one practical next step, held with care.
Closing the accounts takes longer than the funeral.
The funeral takes a week. The accounts take months. The bank, the lawyer, the insurance company, the social security office, and the gym membership all want something from you in the same week.
Kaira does that work, so your friends and your family can do the rest.
